Beyond the release notes

Off the clock, I'm a traveller. Same instincts as release day: plan the route, know the rollback, and enjoy the cutover.

19countries visited

39U.S. states visited

78%of the 50 states

39 of 50 states means only 11 left. Think of it as a release backlog with a very fun burn-down.
19 countries is roughly one passport stamp per major release train I've run.
Years of coordinating Australia, Asia, Europe and U.S. time zones at work made jet lag feel like just another change window.
Every trip gets a runbook: schedule, owners, checkpoints, and a rollback plan for missed connections.
Go/No-Go for a trip is simple: if the weather, the flights and the food are all green, it's a Go.
